Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HUH!!??..when was it in the cinema?.. when was in ireland for that matter?
    - i think it was in only on in the IFI for about two weeks

**** all decent movies come to ireland man .. last good film was mean creak or sin city
-I know i'm working part time in xtra vision at the moment and i'd say about 90% of the films are pure S**te, but they're the most popular.

    "versus"
a suprisingly enjoyable kung fu zombie movie , nothing special ,style over substance , but good viewing none the less.

most of the main characters looked like they had been filmed while on their tea break from a japanese shockwave hairgel ad, but the acting wasnt bad for a zombie film.

well worth a look if your in the mood for a braindead zombie flick

Dark Water 2005. Quite good considering what I was expecting, but it still feels pointless as a remake. They do a reasonably good job of setting the atmosphere, though.

Went to see "Crash" in the UGC. Saw it in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago, and decided to go see it again. Excellent film.

    Cursed ..

.. I told myself before i saw it that there's no way it can be as bad as everyone says. Craven's directing and Williamson's writing back together can only produce good things!.. oh, how wrong i was?!

Terrible acting, terrible CGI, no scares, full of cringeworthy jokes and every stereotype you could possibly thrown in the mix!

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! If you see it on the shelf and you think "there's no possible way it could possibly be as bad as everyone's making out!".... IT IS!!

Pleasantly surprised by both. They weren't half as bad as I expected them to be.

    The Island:

Story line was very original, kept me on edge to what the f*ck was going on! The action scene's were absolutly the worst I have ever seen, the camera work is very very bad, basically to make something exciting they zoom in on it so that you hardly know what it is, then they vibrate the camera. It got extremely annoying at points, other than that it was a good movie but predictable towards the second half

Watched abit of Willow last night. Didn't like that much as a child. But find it rather funny now that I'm older. Really funny when Val Kilmer's character and Willow meet first. "peck, peck, peck ,peck, peck!" :)

Shaun of the Dead. Some funny bits ("Don't Stop Me Now"), but it wasn't a comedy really. It wanted to be, but wasn't. After the mass invasion of zombies began, the jokes just seemed to fizzle away.

    Unleashed

I really enjoyed this. It's no masterpiece, but for a Martial Arts film, it had a very good story.

I watched the Truman show again. I'd could never get tired of Jim Carrey. Thought it was pretty decent of BBC1 to show two movies in a row tonight.
