    Hi all,

Been trying to send e-mail on the Siemens S55 and keep getting a message saying GPRS access denied. rang vodafone customer care and they told me that they don't support the e-mail client on this phone only on the nokia's. All settings are correct. Anyone any ideas on this. The guy at vodafone didn't really have a clue as he suggested I just send an sms message instead.

hi, can you check what GPRS connection profile it is trying to use? it would need to be using one whose access point is isp.vodafone.ie (not a WAP one)

this is only available to post-pay (Billed Monthly) cusomters though, so if you are pre-pay ReadyToGo you won't be able to check your POP/IMAP email over GPRS at present

if you are a post-pay, you may need to get Vodafone to enable the full internet (not WAP) isp.vodafone.ie access point for you to use

alternatively you may be able to check you email using a CSD (dial-up) conneciton profile though
