    How does this work?
Can I stop paying eircom line rental?
Do I have to pay Esat more than the €108 a month?

In theory, yes you won't have to pay line-rental and no it shouldn't cost any extra from Esat.

In practice, well I'll find out next month when I get my Esat bill and my Eircom bill will be due (hopefully it won't arrive. ;))

I was under the impression that Esat will only unbundled the data channel of a line.

I'm on EsatBT business and I have my line unbundled, and pay Eircom no €€.
But yes, it is data only, so I've no voice on my line. If you want voice, you gotta keep paying Eircom.

I shall ring them tomorrow and request the order forms, check about a few things and ask about the lead-time for connection.

Then ring Netsource and open up the flood gates.

The line-rental should come up on the Esat Bill instead, but that money is still going to Eircom, coz Esat is renting the line from Eircom.
So you will still be paying Eircom line-rental, just through Esat instead.

It just means one bill, instead of an extra one from Eircom.
