Non-Cod fish fingers!!

    Just a word of warning.

    My sis went over to shop last week and bought some fish fingers(from the Captains Table), thinking they were Cod fingers.

    Alas, the word 'Cod' is not written on front of box. Why???

    Because it's Alaskan Pollock!! That's why.

    They are not as nice, also they sell Hoki fingers, not as good as Cod.


    Saturday morning after gargling, Cod fingers on a soft roll with ketchup and a piping hot cupan tae, mmmmm!

    IIRC alot of the big frozen fish sellers are buying this Hoki stuff,which they claim tastes near identical to cod. Apparently Donegal Catch is,for the most part,actually caught off the coast of New Zealand nowadays,as for the time being they are quitting fishing for cod in home waters to let them replenish the low population.

    If they fcuk with the McDonalds fillet fish there will be heavy sack beatings I tell thee:mad:
