Are we voting on forums here or actual websites.

Gigsmart are great but the website is a bit stagnant. The forum kicks ass.

Thumped are also cool, and the website is updated quite regularily

    Keith

dont ya'll think canvassing website members should disqaulify any nominees

Hardly, if the people who visit and like our site and are board members then we are merely allowing them a chance to show their love for our site!

I'd be more suspicious of 'new members' who register specifically to vote and are never heard of again!

eh i didnt vote cos i aint got time to be looking through a load of different sites and the only reason i came onto this site is cos i was on the Ggismart site and didnt think it was fair

The above is who picked them, it was here on the music board for about three weeks, and I also posted about it on the Afterhours board.

    Oversights/unknowns were http://www.irismagazine.net/ / http://www.eclectichoney.com/

I might be slightly biased but I'm amazed irismagazine.net isn't on this. It can't have been very well publicised.

See here and tell me wether or not we're at least deserving of a nomination.

I think Keith has good point here about forums... ours is **** but our site in general has so much on it.

Also eclectichoney being left out is a disgrace.

    As I said "Oversights/unknowns were http://www.irismagazine.net/ / http://www.eclectichoney.com/". I can't say I have every seen any body on boards talk about eclectichoney.com.

Edited (1): Sorry, and sorry about being human.

Edited (2): Also, if I do this next year () I'll let the consultation run for a least two 4 - 6 weeks, and I'll work on the only being human thing.

Why is fastfude not nominated? It's by far the best when it comes to the northern half of the country...

    Vote Thumped!

Thumped/Ballroom of Romance Christmas party is on Friday 19th December!!

€8 in... The Tycho Brahe are playing

So are xKnifedx who will be brilliant

And DJs... and the first, em, 200 punters get a free CD-R which will have videos made by Irish bands over the last year or so (seeing as No Disco is no more).

And all the cash made goes to charity.

It's in the Lower Deck in Portobello (at Portobello bridge over the Canal as you go into Rathmines - right behind the college)..

    Woooooo!
