Video capture card

I have a video camera (not digital) ...uses 8mm tapes and I want to be able to put the video's on my computer. I heared you can do this with a video capture card? Would > This do the trick?

Ya that should do the trick. Make sure that you have the right cables for it. What connections are on da camera? I presume s-video and you'll need a sound cable to record the sound also.
