6610 Phone restricted

    hi guys,

    got a tmobile 6610 from the states , tried to unlock it 5 times with the dct4 unlocking software ,

    now i got the phone restricted message ,

    has anyone got a cable that can unlock this for me? or can they send me software as i have a cable already but dont know if its correct or not ,

    I assume since you say you tried 5times, that you were you using software to read the GDFS and generate the codes?

    If so then your only way to do it now is to Flash the phone. For this you will need both different software(flashing software and appropriate files) and more than likely a different cable too.

    Google it.

    Or check out www.irwebonline.co.uk . I bought a Unlock Kit for my T610 off them last week.

    some pair of balls unlocking that, tis a beautiful phone and not many ppl would risk it :)

    Eh... did you not read my post? I didnt flash it so there is not much risk.

    The kit I got reads the GDFS of the phone(basicly reads the codes from it), and gives them to you on the screen. If it had failed twice I would have stopped and rang the company as the majority of Network locks only give 5 attempts at a GDFS scan/unlock code entry.

    Its a T28 Service Cable and a Login for the company's server.

    Warning: do not attempt to do this from behind a Firewall though as it will fail.
