I remember hearing somewhere that Phantom offer very competitive advertising rates. If your so keen Beatsie why don't you drop them a line, I'm sure they'd be delighted to hear from you, I doubt MCD would complain either:-)

Yeah some of them have been around for a few
weeks alright BrianD.


But its the first time i posted them on this MB.

The reason is, is that there are a lot of smaller gigs going on that people might not hear about, and this board attracts people that know more ,and might be more interested about certain types music & gigs than your average Joseph Soap.

I think some olympia stuff is advertised on Phantom already violenza, but i dont have anything to do with decisons about that kind of thing.

I won tickets for a gig on Saturday night, they e-mailed me at 10:30 on the Friday night. I only check my mail at work, so no good. What's the point in having a competition if you make it difficult for the winner to find out they won.

I like this thread, i just won 2 tickets to my ruin because of it, bumpy bumpy!

(though as someone else said, they leave the notice a bit short, i probably wont be able to cancel my other plans and actually GO to the gig!)

How are the competitions run? are winners just randomly picked? When are the draws and how soon before gigs?

yep the winners are randomly picked

Usually the competitions are closed the day defore gigs if possible, otherwise it could be any time before 4 on the day of the gig.
