Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know I can subscribe to a thread an dwhen ever some body posts something new I get Email notification but is there a way to get Email notification whenever a new thread appears on a forum?

If you want the Admins to do something for you, then post to Admin / Support, not Mod or Newbie FAQ.

I will enable this feature for Mods of forums who want it, but only the Mods of forums. It can be enabled for each new thread OR each new post.

I ... don't remember. If it's on, I can turn it off, or vice versa.

To answer your other question, users can't do that arbitrarily, it needs to be set up by an admin for you.
