This guy completed Super Mario Bros. 3 in eleven minutes, not going to go into detail but he is simply incredible at the game. I mean, I loved Super Mario Bros. 3 and I played it alot, but I was never THIS good.

I actually watched this earlier today after I found it on a different forum, it seems to be doing the round at the moment. It's pretty amazing to watch and makes me feel a bit inadequate when I think back to the days it took me to beat this game. Oh and for those people having troubles downloading it from the first link just right click and save as.

Jayziz that guys a legend. And he managed to get 99 lives aswell. Didnt take one bit of damage

almost as legendary as me taking literally 200 tries at getting the invincibility cheat in goldeneye on the N64....the facility on 00 agent in 2:05....

its impressive how he cleared some levels so fast .....but he DID NOT clear the game just cheated to get to the last group of levels fast

He obviously didnt finish every level like.

i always considered a cheat to be something which you cannot get without entering a code or sommet. Anything you use which is 'naturally' in the game isnt a cheat imo.

wither your enter a code or hold on to a turtle shell for 20 second's on the 4th level its all the same

a code you enter is just as built into the game as the flute cheat

on saying that its still pritty impressive

jesus i thought i was a jegend at this. but i guess i was wrong..... i once made it through the game without dying once or even getting hit. ended up with 99 lives and a rake of items..... the game gets boring after that..... no point in replaying it. once youve mastered it you cant go and beat it so i havnt played it in about 5 months....

BY THE WAY I PLAYED IT FOR LIKE 8 YEARS TO GET TO THAT STAGE!!!

Download an emulator and play the game. As far as I remember, you DO go through the wall there when you pick up that 1up.

Yeah you do go through the wall there.
It used to happen in the first game too.
As for flying, once you get the "p" highlighted you can float even without the racoon tail.

I spent hours and hours trying to get that and the invisibility cheat on archives. Never got invincibility but eventually got invisibility It was the best day of my life.

Invincibility just took a lot of luck (the placement of Doctor Doak) to do, there wasn't really much more to it than that other than learning off the perfect "racing line".

supposedly the mario3 video was faked. it was meant to have been done in an emulator and played at a fraction of the normal speed and any mistakes were rewound and done properly over again.

That was my first though too. Its easily done, but you have to agree that some bits are done with skill (particularly the canonball hopping, and the speed completion of level 1, 2 and 3).
