How easy is it to use ?
Anything I should know before installing it ?
Gonna try use Mandrake 9.2 and windows XP.
    Will that work ?

i have Red hat 9 running on XP Pro via VM so mandrake should be grand.

Didn't do it myself, Kudos is to thank for that :)

not 100% sure of the install details...was running for bottles of coke!

Got it up and running this morning. But I can't seem to get it to share my internet connection.

This is because you probably elected to network it with your host machine only.

Check your networking settings in VMWare and select to give VMs access to the wider network that host machine is on.

I manage to get it "connected" through network monitoring but even when it says connected I can't visit websites and times out after a few seconds.

I've tried bridged, nat, and host only all with the same effect.
Can't seem to get the Virtual eth0 to stick with the 1 i.p. it either is blank or has the wrong ip in the configuration.
