was on the bus and had a bit of time to think (yes it did hurt) came up with an idea which i think is good and should attract a nice bit of interest.

    here goes.

a boards.ie joke mailing list you would have to sign up obviously and be of certain age other wise kiddies might get some e-mails they might not quiet understand.

heres idea 1/2 people to moderate an incoming e-mail if acceptable it is passed on to all people who sign up to the idea. lets say limit inbox to 30 e-mails limits ****. and a group e-mail 1/2 a week depending on what is there to work with.

not quiet sure if it is a fesiable idea though but though id throw it out there..

Whats wrong with the Humour forum , where you dont get spammed 50 dumb emails a day and you take from it whenever you want....

Seems like a step backwards to me.

It's one way to bypass firewalls that ban boards.ie and other sites. Even techies forget to filter joke e-mails (but make copies for themselves :)).

If a properly done digest could be done, I don't see the harm, although adult material could create difficulties, even for adults, if they are at work.
