    Right someone just recommended I get an older bike and qualify for classic bike insurance with carol nash.

    Now, 2 questions. Since I'm currently paying Third Party only, it would seem to me that changing the bike (eg if it was in the same group as my current bike) would not change my premium at all. I'm with hibernian now, but just amoi, if I changed to classic insurance with Carol Nash.

    And, how old does a bike need to be to qualify for classic insurance?

    not sure about bikes, but (some) cars (e.g.Fords) can qualify when they are 15 years old.
    However, with cars it must be a second vehicle i.e. you must also have a normal car insurance policy aswell.
    And mileages are usually restricted on classic policies.
