Dataisgod, i had Championship Manager running there. Its running more like 54'C now and 40 idle. Bearing in mind that Abit boards misreport by 10'C.

I knew someone would say something:D

fair enough :) but i consider my abit board to misreport by 10C under i load around 43-47c are you saying this is really 33-37c?

sometimes when i boot up the temps are 10c lower then the previous boot.

there is still a large difference between you idle and load temps though would have thought.

    sorry for off topic

Ya, its said on the abit forums and overclockers forums discussed it aswell . Asus boards temp monitoring seem to be more accurate.

Sorry aswell for being off topic

You do know that there are two diffrent temps reported by diffrent programs depending on what sensor the program uses. One is Core temp this is the hottest one the other is Chip temp, this can be around 10C lower then Core temp. This could explain the apparent diffrence in temps, diffrent programs use one or the other sensor and all of them report the temp as "CPU temp". This little proggy here will give you both temps in the Computer -> sensor section.

OfflerCrocGod, I'll try that program but i have mbm too and its reports the same as winbond. Abit have acknowledged it also

    Dempsey,
Your 12v and 5v rails appear to be way out, what sort of PSU are you using? Q-tec?
