I think RVN misses becks ,when ole and scholes return from injury we will get a true picture about his absence. IMO uberwolf is correct in that hype surronding becks blows his fotballing ability out of all porportion, after all Ole played in his right wing position in all Utds really important matches last season and did really well .

I agree, he certainly was far better at cutting in. Beckham tended to try crossing it instead of taking on a player.

He had gone stale alright. But even as a Pool fan I must say that I admire how he has answered his critics. He may do too much extra-curricular activity outside football but those who questioned his desire and ability have been rightly put back in their place IMO

The bare facts were he was not producing the goods for Utd last season. He was puttin gin the effort for England but not for Utd.

It took 18 months of negotiations to sing his last Utd contract but less than a week for the Madrid one?

He has quit most of his commercial activities now. Why?


He had to go from Utd. There was no room for a primadonna in Utd. He though he was one.

I'd bet he will be playing for Chelsea before too long as his dimwit wife engineers a move back to London.

He wasnt playing to the same level alright as I have conceded. But how come he is now playing out of his skin for Real? Maybe the situation wasnt managed correctly? And if he does come back to Chelsea God help Utd!
