Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I live in Westmeath and currently recieve analog transmissions from Brougher Mountain in perfect clarity on a wideband aeriel with a Fringe Supreme masthead amplifier. What are the chances of recieving freeview. I ordered a Goodmans combined DVD/Freeview unit, waiting delivery, but am having second thoughts.(I can return it) Any reports on Freeview reception this far south?

I've heard of Freeview reception in Cavan, Louth and in Sligo but I would guess that Westmeath is pushing it quite a bit. Nevertheless, never say never. There's no harm in experimenting. Just remember though that the less "Snow" you have on your current analogue channels the better.

Also if you are using a wideband aerial, it will have quite a poor response over the lower UHF frequencies that Brougher Mountain uses.
