Anyone any idea whats causing this error. Its to do with flashplayer.Ive uninstalled flashplayer using macromedias uninstaller and even done a full reinstall of windows and still no luck. Its only started happening since flashplayers latest update a few weeks ago(think its version 7)
If I delete the file flash.ocx I dont get the error but flash movies, popups etc wont play.Is there an alternative to flashplayer than macromedias player or does anyone know what flash.ocx is???
    Thanks
    Richie.

If I'm not mistaken flash.ocx is the actual flash codec.
Maybe get someone to send you theres.
If you pm me your email I'd gladly send mine and you could try that.

How about trying an alternate browser? Firebrid Self-Extractable 4.5Mb get the one targeted at your platform. Then download the Flash Installer from Macros website select other browser in the installation and point it to the MozillaFirebird/plugins directory launch Firebird and see if you get Flash working.

Do you have to spam Mozilla related stuff in every post?

Not really, I'm just wondering why you post to almost every mail/browser thread with "use <insert Mozilla product here>"
I only use Mozilla on my home PC but I don't feel the need to broadcast it constantly.

I only use it at home to....what's the point?. I broadcast cause I like it, Firebird is better then Moz by the way.

    Ive tried that already.
But over the weekend I rolled back to version 6 and the problem seems to be solved.
    Strange one though.
And I wasnt actually looking for a different browser more of a different flashplayer program.
