Recieved this in an e-mail. Seems we're not the only ones with an idea along these lines.

    Cool! The more the merrier!

I've been thinking about SSF for next year, I dont see why the idea cant be exported on the internet to just about every city on earth if people just got off their arses and organised. Its a catchy idea and all it would take would be a big website with some programming to help organise things...

ooh...international strike force. maybe you could head it yourself. or completely remodel boards.ie, removing all forums and devoting it entirely to the santa strike force project.....that'd be a nice surprise for all the boardsers

note to self...find more discreet method of making mental notes

Well to tell the truth, thats pretty much what I'm going to do.

I'm going to try to create a site where we organise this better and can include more people, strike forces, targets and generally get more organised about it. Obviously I'll still use Boards as its initial community but that way we can also include other people, forces and targets from outside Ireland. If you've followed what Penny-Arcade.com have been doing, its quite amazing.

Anyway, thats just a plan for *after* I get out from under this pile of boxes.
