Howdy, does anyone know of where to get the pioneer 106 online.

Its a company purchase, so if its in the UK/EU, I need it to be exVAT.

Dabs say to send a scan of a letterhead with VAT details to export@dabs.com, but that email address bounces. Their cs@dabs.com replied without answering the question (clearly deliberately ignoring the question about the bouncing email address)

Bigpockets.co.uk haven't responded either (in over 3 days).

    Komplett charge way too much.

    Anywhere else worth trying?

Its gas, this has been going on for almost 2 weeks now!!

If you order from Big Pockets and put your VAT number in the comments section they will ship without VAT added

    Cheers folks,

BigPockets are now sold out, but will keep an eye.

Valtecs may be cheaper than komplett, but not still Eur20+ dearer than bigpockets, dabs or watford (including del, excluding VAT .. which I won't be paying), and they say they take a week to setup a business account!!

    Hi,

please feel free to correct me, but:
normally no shop in the EU can sell you stuff without charging VAT for it!

What they can do is that you register as a "reseller" and then you are allowed to receive goods for trading without paying VAT. For that purpose you have to submit your companies VAT-number. Your company then has to sell the goods with 21% VAT to the customer or takes the goods as "assets" for itself (asset can be defined in many ways ;))

Or, you buy the goods with paying the VAT (which is lower than 21% in most other EU-countries) and your company can claim that VAT from the revenue back.

All other ways are more or less not legal!

Even when you buy goods outside the EU then you don't have to pay the Tax in the designated country, but you have to pay import tax in Ireland (if they get you ;)).

    Regards,

    jow
