I have developed an online Irish capital gains tax calculator. It automates the estimation of Capital Gains Tax, other than for disposals of development land, as set out in Annex 3 of the Revenue Commissioners’ Guide. It can be used to estimate liabilities for both the 2003 and 2004 tax years.

If an asset was originally purchased in IR£, the calculator will handle conversion to euro.
