    Hows it goin,
just bought a shiny new Samsung CDR/RW drive which has Exaclink buffer underun protection. I also have a load of "1 - 24 x compatible" CD-R discs. Now the drive can burn up to 40x, just wondering if it's safe to burn at 40x to discs that only support up to 24x. See, i've already tried it with a few discs and they seem to work fine. I've tried them in 3 different drives and they seem to work grand.

    Any help is appreciated, cheers!
