maybe someone else has said this but there is a new one out with improvements all over the shop loike ye can see the scoreboard know.
the server can be upgraded and just set to not pure and the old clients can still connect to it.

Played it yesterday at a lan. Very nice update with loadsa fixes. It makes it slightly faster and fixes loadsa stuff.

you know when it gets up to point release 25 that it will be a whopping 37 meg d/l
your q3a folder will be over 2 gig and the netcode will still be ****e

If I remember well the first patch of UT's Official Demo was a complete and utter disgrace as not only was it huge (8.9mb), but it fvcked up your installed ver and you had to follow 'special' instructions to fix the patch! This was a patch to their demo!

Oh, while I'm at it, (i didnt start this), theres a new patch out today (505b), which is also Huge (4.5mb) and the fix list is just as long and boring as q3a's one.

One wonders why people go off on their UT-v-Q3 Crapola when their own game is as sh1te as the other when it comes to patching and all the rest that goes along with it.

yeah i got a version of it on 3dshack yesterday and it fu(ked up the bind menus like chaos said.
also something else but i can't remember,
where dya get the other version cloud ?
