    Ive just bought q3a but i have only got a p233 and a voodoo 1 so i need to squeeze every last frame. Can someone mail me there config pls ?

    Has anyone tried Q3 with an ATI Rage Pro 8 Mb card yet ? Haven't tried Q3 on my machine with one of those yet (won't be able to till the weekend) and was wondering what the performance is like. Should I use the Worst Visual Quality, Best FPS setting from the above link ??

    hmmmm, just tried installing Q3 on a P3 500 with a voodoo2 card and it came up with an error about missing GL files. Anyone got any ideas?

    I've played Q3 demo on an old (233mhz) Apple Powerbook (4MB ATI chip). Not an experience I'd like to repeat, but it did run and was moderately playable after some serious messing with configs.. smile.gif

    i read somewhere that you should be able to change what sort of display drives you want to yse.
    cant remember of hand what its about.
    i recall its suppose to be under where you pick custom, high fps etc but its not there on mine.
    using a v3 2000. just wondering does it automatically default to opengl or something?

    and lolth i read somewhere that there was a few problems with v2s, but i think that ws with amd chips and the whole gl extension thingies
