7650 fixed?

    Anyone know where I can get a 7650 repaired? Battery wont charge and the actual power plug at the bottom of the phone appears damaged but local phone shop (nokia service centre too) say that the 7650s cant be fixed! Surely its covered under some kind of warranty as its less then 6 months old? Dont really want to change to a different phone cos love 7650 camara/apps/tones etc. Anyone any ideas as to what to do?

    7650's Can be fixed!
    Somone fed u BS guy.

    Thing is, it aint cheap, I was quoted €60 for simply cleaning the contacts under the buttons (5 min job).

    If it is under 6 months old, bring it back to where u bought it and insist they send it in for repair. Thing is tho, if its vodafone, even if they send it in tomorrow, it will be after xmas when u get it back, as the service center closes for xmas soon. :rolleyes: and, being vodafone, they will prolly try to feed u some bs about nokias policy regarding 7650's, if they *do*, then do what I did, contact NOKIA directly and tell them ur thiking of buying a bunch of 7650's and want to know about reliability and what their repair potential is. ;)

    There is a place on dawsons street (I think?) that will arrange it if ur local store wont.
