i can get speedfan to run from startup, but can you get it to remember the settings every time? i set one of the fans to 20%, but it restarts @ 100% dave

i read a post here saying that speedfan was damaging drives, i'd check that out first

not using it to manage drives, only 1 case fan, and temp monitoring.

there's 2 settings you might have to tick. In the main window make sure "automatically variated" is on. And in the configure section when you are setting the min and max speeds for the fans there's a box beside that that should be ticked, can't remember what it is. try those. make sure to set your max speed percentage well below 100 to keep it quiet.
