one of these is the all time favourite... the rest are in no apparent order but are still glorious albums...

goldie - timeless - undisputed favourite. everybody needs this album. especially the geezer who said he liked the richard d james album..... trust!

deus - in a bar under the sea : simply great "rock" music that isnt frightened to be a bit clever.

photek - modus operandi - drums as melodies. stone cold classic

the sex pistols - never mind the bolloks

genaside ii - new life 4 the hunted - a classic, only let down by the fact that it was so ambitious that it feels more like a compilation due to the fact that every tune on the album is from a different genre and/or era... it goes from motown to hardcore to punk to ragga to jazz to hip hop [first ever appearnance of the wu tang clan on record - lord knows how on earth they got in touch with them from london] and back. and it manages to make a beethoven sample seem like the most murderous piece of music ever. good luck finding it though... the cover of under the bridge takes a song thats about heroin and makes it sound like its being sung by a choir of strung out ex girlband singers and is in my opinion far better than the chilli peppers own version...

i wouldn't listen to much of these often, but they've all been really important records for me (some of them aren't albums per se, but....)

Korn - either of the first two
Ben Folds Five - Whatever and ever amen
Medulla Nocte - A conversation Alone

    Minor Threat - anything
My Name Is Satan - Refuse To Kneel
