Building Surveying........... How many yrs, 5 or 7?

Im just looking up some courses on building surveying. Some colleges seem to do degress but you`ll still have to do loads more exams?? The DKIT cert/diploma/Bsc seems t o take 7 yrs, if im correct. 2 for cert, 1 for diploma, then 4 yrs for the BSC add/on. Is that right? another site i looked at, (Chartered surveyors site)…

On a seperate note, are these courses full of science/maths stuff. Or are they more practical stuff like tech drawing, CAD, with some maths and stuff.
