Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mapping for HL with Steam

I downloaded CS 1.6 with Steam and during the installation process, it advised me to delete my old HL files as they were converted to Steam format ones...

Now Valve Hammer Editor has no textures to work with. Aside from getting hold of the textures in .wad form again, is there any way to access the textures inside the Steam cache files?

had a very quick hunt around for something to open a .gcf..

    no dice :(

just use the textures from the original hl install, and compile them in at the end.
