Low fps with TNT1

Fool that I am, I sold my 3dfx banshee and got a tnt1(on the cheap). now instead of 95 fps timedemo i get 65. Does anyone know any TNT1/2 specific tweaks, besides just turning off graphics options because I have done that

gerry im on a PII 400 with a tnt , i get 74 in a timedemo with this config www.gibworld.com/sonic/configs/quake3/sonic.cfg and the optimisations from ftp://ftp.barrysworld.com/quake3/source/game-dlls.zip

Actually 48 fps Now Gerry and Considering your MA! gives 30fps I consider that f u c k i n g Brilliant Et Toi!
