Eicom and IOL rebates

    Im interested in getting the Eircom multi or enhanced, however I notice that the rebate only seems to be on the entry level dsl (Eircom starter). Same with IOL free install and modem.
    Whynot offer it on all the plans or am I reading this wrong?

    My thinking to save 300 Euro is to go with the starter and then upgrade say next month after the 1st billing cycle.

    Does this make sense?

    That's exactly what I did. I started with the most basic package, and then upgraded to 1MBit uncapped. They don't charge you for changing, so it's perfect doing it that way.

    Out of curiousity, how much is the 1Mbit uncapped service?
