Weird Stomach Noises?

Hey ... I have a two year old cock-a-poo ... not sure if you have them here in Ireland :) Just a cocker spaniel / poodle mix at any rate. Anyway, since moving him here about two months ago, he's started to make weird noises in his stomach especially during the afternoon. It sounds (for lack of a better comparison) like gas, but he's still eating the same amount of food he did at home.

The only thing that's changed is that Eukaneuba maintenance formula for adults here seems slightly different, but he hasn't had any problems eating it, nor anything strange going to the bathroom.

Is this something that just happens to dogs as they get older? Or should I be looking to take him to a vet ...

Don't know mate but don't take the chance.
Take him to the Vet. If anything it'll put your mind at rest!

Is he eating grass at all? Dogs do this when they have an upset stomach and barf it back up to clean out their system.

If he seems happy enough apart from the gurgly stomach then I'd say he's fine.
Although if you're worried best to take him to vet, even though the vet will probably say to take him home and if he gets sick or whatever to bring him back then.

i know what you mean. I have a german shepard and sometimes at night when we are relaxing in the sitting room his tummy makes weird gurgling noises. i thought at first it was because of somethhing he ate, but he only has his nuts and some vitamins so food had nothing to do with it.

all the time. he is such a spoiled thing. some people who have seen him say that he would nearly speak to you. and he is quite stupporn. he sulks if he doesnt get what he wants. but is very protective of me, so much so it affects my love life. sincew my fiance moved in he has been very put out by not getting so much attentation.

he is 4 years old. he was beaten as a puppy and left in a dogs home. i had just moved to a new house and decided to get a small house dog. but i came home with a 2 year old german shepard. i love him to bits and would not be without him but he can be a right pain in the neck sometimes. how old is your dog?

ahh he is beautiful. i dont have one of max on the internet yet but i will soon. when you see him you will laugh, he has a wonky ear and some teeth missing but i still love him to pieces. one of the main problems i have with him is that he hates children, when ever my nieces or nephews come i have to lock him up in his pen. and hae hates other dogs. we have to muzzle him when we take him out because he can be so unpredictable. but with the people he knows he is a little pet.
