From examiner Is this one of the biggest con jobs ever undertaken by the govt, is the govt just lazy in fasttracking them or ultimately do we have to wait another 3 years before the 1st house is built ? :D

yes but didn't they come back into the market the year after it was introduced when tax advantages were re-introduced? It seemed they didn't want house price stability after all.
