    Whats the deal with December 27th? Is it a proper bank holiday or not? The Banks all take it and are quite millitant about recouping it when the 27th is on the weekends. Yet its full rate for phone calls etc but nothing is working.

    Where did it come from? which polical party brought it in?

    27th Dec. is a normal Saturday, why would it be a bank holiday ? :)

    Nope not blonde, my bank never opens on saturdays anyway, I wouldnt expect them to open this saturday either ! :)

    Jayzus, didnt know that, not opening on Monday is ridiculous.

    I hardly use the bank anyway, maybe once a year...its too 'far' away.
    I usually use the atm in work or on the street if i need any cash.
