Whats parts to use ina new system build?

    Ok I want to buy a new system, Im looking at buy a very high spec pc, this is a list of parts I have priced. What do ye guys think of both the prices and specs?

    Out of all these items which selction would ye guys pick , and what am I for getting, I have hdds all are 120gig 7200 8mb cache, I have 128mb video card. And a 17” monitor, or would I be better off buying a Dell ?
    I currently have a dell Dimension 8100 P4 1.5 with 768 DDR Pc 400 ram but I dont think I can upgrade the CPU.

    See if you can source an Intel D865PERL-K board, they're the best of that genre IMHO. On the CPU, 25% more euro for maybe 5% more speed doesn't sound like a good deal. I've used the TwinMOS matched pairs and they work well, just don't be tempted to throw in your old RAM too. i865 loves consistent memory configs.

    what do you think of the pricing ? Ive been suring on a USA site but the gear sint much cheaper. is komplett my best bet or where should I be looking?

    The prices are definitely around the couldn't-be-arsed-looking-for-lower level.
