Q3war1 server booking

Dark Forces would like to book the Q3war1 server for a clantraining.

Tuesday the 25-01-2000 at 9 ( 1 hour)
Thursday the 27-01-2000 (1 to 2 hours)

Any1 have objections?

while were at it,

Se7en would like to book the same server for :
- tonight @10pm (monday :1/2 hours) and
- Wednesday Nite @10pm (1/2 hours)

If any other clan wishes to practice against us using the same server times, just let me know here.

not wishing to **** anyone off
but what with clans booking the server two days at a time like this there'll be **** all free time left on it.
so 4P would like to take this opportunity to book the q3 server for friday saturday and sunday night from 9-11.

Thats lame Kali.
I asked if people object to booking the server this way. You don't object and instead of coming up with a constructive idea, you decide to do it this way.

With more and more clans, without an own clan server, going to use the Q3war server(s), it might be a good idea to get a good method of booking these servers. A system like the BW booking system with an automated diary online can prevent clans double booking servers. And if clans don't show for their allocated time slot their booking rights will be suspended for a small period of time.

Would this be possible? Maybe stick a link on the Quake.ie webpage?

I cant play q3 on the net at the moment so it doesnt bother me in the slightest
I was pushing for a change in the booking system instead of posting here.
If ppl cant sense sarcasm without a customary gay smiley face then they're not really all there.

Yeh, I can see the sence in what Kali is saying. I think we should limit server bookings to max two a week.

But most of the regular teams dont normally have to book the servers, as they are usually on them already.

Its what i consider the 'occasional team' who really needs to book the servers. But anyhows, see how it goes and if it gets outta hand, Im sure the lovely q3 admins will step in.

In the interim, Im cancelling booking for Se7en for the remainder of the week just to free up slots for the other teams..

I agree there needs to be a system here, and maybe limit the ammount of clan bookings to 2 each week maximum, although I get the idea that the War server isn't really overcrowed right now.

btw. the Dark Forces Thursday booking still stands though
