    Hi guys,
I've just reloaded Windows 2k onto my machine and loaded all the drivers (except the cd rom drive cause i can't find it)
Anyway on first boot things were ok
Then when i restarted i couldnt find the Cd rom drive (drive F) in my computer
any suggestions what might be causing this and how to fix it

ive tried going to "run" and typing in F: but no luck
    thanks in advance

Check the BIOS to see if it's being detected there.
Open up the case and see that all the connections are still in place.
Are there any other devices on the same IDE cable?
    Try the CD-Rom by itself.
Check the jumper settings master/slave etc.
