    clubbing.com has gone to **** in recent months, the front page has only been updated once this year afaik.
    and the forums have been up & down like a yoyo for the past 2 weeks, without so much as a word of appology from the admins.

    He played last Feb..I think, will go home and check my ticket stub. It was one Saturday night in the The Village...excellent gig! His first in a few years!

    Best Irish Music Radio Show - Dave Fanning on 2fm, the new show is excellent! It is topical and very diverse. I enjoy driving home from work at 6pm & listening to the show.

    Ryan Adams hasn't played Ireland yet this year but he plays the Olympia this Sunday night

    Gigsmarts website isn't the best however the sterling work the lads do deserves some sort of recognition or award.

    They've put on millions of gigs for unsigned acts this year and put out that CD that made 6 in the chart whilst not pocketing any dough themselves (unlike every other dope runnin shows).

    Hows about some sort of category that recognises this? Many bands have had their audiences substantially inflated cos of em!

    It may not really belong in this set of awards, but what about the possibility of a 'Best Classical Album' or 'Best live Classical performance'?

    I am conscious that, compared to the other categories, there might be relatively little interest in voting under these headings, so perhaps it's beyond the scope of these awards.

    If it's decided to include them, I'll post a number of suggestions under each category, if it's decided not to include them, no problem.
