Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Feliz Año Nuevo!

All the best for the new year. Got to see the Spanish celebrate the New Year an hour before us on TVEi (835 on Sky Digital) in the Puerta del Sol. Was disappointed they wouldn't show the presenters trying to eat all the grapes before the bells rang out, but one nearly choked on a gold bracelet she put in her drink. From my understanding the two presenters were just trying to put something gold into their glasses. Is that a custom?

I think it's a good luck thing. It'd traditional to wash down the 12 grapes with a glass of cava and putting gold objects or jewellry in is supposed to bring you good luck in the coming year.
