Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd like to see the two meet if only so Beckham can score the winning goal for Real and then see Fergie explode
    on the techincal area...!

The two matches they had last year were very interesting and entertaining at the time - and even more so in the light of what has happened since. United were outscored by 7-5 over the two legs last year, but since then they have become defensively solid, particularly between the sticks. Also they have added potency to an attack and midfield that was misfiring once too often last season. When you consider that Real have weakened themseleves defensively (although they are still peerless going forward) - you would expect that the two goal advantage Real enjoyed last season must have closed quite a bit.

It would be too close to call in my opinion.
