IE 6 display bar at bottom

    A very annoying feature of Internet explorer is that the little display bar on the bottom of the window isnt always there. ie when i open a new window its never there.

    does anyone know how to make it a permanent fixture??

    Oh and i dont want to change browser either. thanks...

    Also, is there any program that will permanently maximize IE 6?

    Oh, and it's the status bar joc_06, -> View -> Status Bar

    control - X close it to make it permanent

    conZ - i don't think there is an app the permanently maximize IE but you can make it start always maximized

    right click on ie shortcut - properties - run - change it to maximized
