    not impressed by the images in the press release.
    One was of a bloody wheel!

    It's good to see some success in this area for a change, I'm delighted that the probe made it down intact and appears to be fully functional, Heres hoping the oppertunity probe will have an equally safe landing. Can't wait to see some hi-res colour images.

    i though that rover was one on the most advanaced mini labs sent to mars ? and it cant send back color images?

    it couldnt be that hard to install a color camra surely they dont weigh more

    Actually it has an advanced stereo colour camera from which they hope to get hi-res colour images from soon. The B&W images are from the navigation camera.

    yeah i cant wait either. I wonder what we will see.

    Hopefully something interesting like some alien body in the pics or something.
