iPAQ 5450 Question

It seems, my ipaq 5450 has a sim card slot under the batters, over this slot however is a "warrenty void if removed" sticker.... any ideas why? and can i use this as a mobile phone or just put a sim card in there for surfing??? B

the only 'radios' in the 5450 are WiFi and Bluetooth

there were plans to release a GSM/GPRS version of the 5000 series (hence the SIM slot being designed into the device) but it wasn't rolled out - a prototype appeared on eBay last year though...

there are rumours they will release a device with these capabilities in '04...
