Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Figured out the United team but not Villa

    Howard
    G.Neville
    Brown
    Silvestre
    O'Shea
    Scholes
    Butt
    Kleberson
    Fortune
    Forlan
    Giggs

    Subs:
    van Nistelrooy for Forlan
    Keane for O'Shea

excellent win, didnt see the match but saw the goals, from 1-0 down must have been a bout of utd pressure to make it 2-1 in 4 minutes.

scholesy the gem rescued this one for us, and now we can move on. funny how utd NEVER seem to get an easy tie like yeovil or farnborough, always tough fixtures to mid-lin premiership sides or on form 1st div sides.

we always seem to get it harder than arsenal and liverpool who always have it easy. chelsea have it hard too, similar to us.

i think smemon has a bit of a selective memory :)
but it does seem utd get harder games sometimes in the cups.

Tbh ull have to beat em sometime, why not in the first few rounds :D

You're probably better playing Premiership sides anyway. Losing to Villa wouldn't be shameful but losing to Yeovil would, no disrespect.

Besides I think last time utd met a lower div side (blackpool in 93/94 afaik) they lost in the 2nd round of the coca cola cup
