wharfedale DVD-750S and DVD-RW?? Does it work?

just got myself a freecom dvd burner and bought DVD+RW media, ripped pirates of the carribean onto the pc using dvdshrink and then burned it successfully onto the DVD+RW disc with Nero and no problems occur. However the wharfedale dvd player comes up with the message 'NO DISC' and the computer's DVD drive does not…

just got myself a freecom dvd burner and bought DVD+RW media, ripped pirates of the carribean onto the pc using dvdshrink and then burned it successfully onto the DVD+RW disc with Nero and no problems occur. However the wharfedale dvd player comes up with the message 'NO DISC' and the computer's DVD drive does not recognise it either but if the burnt dvd is placed in the freecom drive it plays perfectly well. So does anyone know if the wharfedale dvd player cannot play DVD+RW media and what about DVD-RW ?? or does it not play burnt dvds at all?? tried looking on the web for more info but to no avail.
