Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i really think utd need a new striker becauce if van nistilrooy dosnt play utd are gone just as we saw today utd take off forlan and oshea bring on ruud and keane and the game completly turns around.kezmen would be the perfect man for the job.the only problem wit kezmen is he cant play in europe. lets get rid of forlan he is a big flop.
i think fergi has saha and freddi kanute on the top of the list because he is looking for a player who can play in europe.

My moneys on Smith or Viduka but Robben who is expected to join can play striker.

I think Robben will be the long term replacement fro giggs and fergie was forced to move for him before he wanted due to interest from chelsea. Depending on what papaer you read united are in for Smith / vaduka / Angel / Kanoute / Saha and that only the PL strikers linked. Ole is back in full training and fergie usually doesn,t buy in the transfer window so if he can't get the player that will improve on what is available he will wait until he can. Personally i think Smith would be a good buy in the long term , as a short term cover for Ruud Vaduka is the most similar to him.

smith won't move. he said he's leeds thru and thru, and also, he may have the talent, but not hte temperment to play for a big club. he went looking for a fight today at half-time.
Viduka most likely. Saha should move

I think buying now would be a good idea, regardless of whether the new signing can/ can't play in Europe. If he can't then he can lead the line in the Premiership and take the pressure off Van Nistelrooy who can sit on the bench more and be prepared for European games. It would also mean that come August 04 and the new season that the new guy would have his settling in period over.

    Very astute observation .

Look there is no point in saying "this lad and that lad are going to united". At the end of the day United have been linked with about £150 million worth of strikers in the last 2/3 months . . . today they are linked with Vieri from Inter . . . . . so until some one pulls on the No.9 shirt for United i wont be paying too much attention to all the rumours!

I still like the idea of Eto'o from Mallorca... he is a good striker and is available for champs league! Can see him fitting in nicely.
