Cheapie flatbed scanner

    Hi,

    I'm looking for a reccomendation.
    I need a flatbed scanner for average home use.

    The main thing i am looking for is one that gives a decent image, and is quite cheap.

    I was looking at the Canon CanoScan LiDE30.
    Has anyone used one of these. Is there s different model/brand you would reccomend?

    I'm not sure how much that canon is, but I purchased a hp scanjet 3670 for €102 from IT Direct, and it does an excellent job, comes with an attachment for negatives also. I'd say you could probably drop the budget below 100 though.

    compustore are doing half price scanners.

    hp scanjet is €55
    benq equivalent model is €50. I bought this and the scans are of photo-quality (to my eye), and quick. USB A4 flatbed.
