    Hey all:)
    The Boom Boom Room is back for the New Year with a rather large bang. As ya’ll know we try to bring you the very best in live music and January begins, as the year will continue!! Check out the very best in live jazz from Irelands world-renowned musicians, as well as some of our most promising young talents.

    •Thursday 8th:
    THE VIVA FOUR

    Members:
    Aoife Doyle, Voice
    Jamie Gormly, Bass
    John McLaughlin, Drums
    Stephen McFarlane, Guitar

    Viva Four is a new grouping of Irish jazz musicians playing the vocal
    repertoire of the classic American jazz tradition. Viva Four's
    arrangements are crafted from the many different musical backgrounds of each player, which allows for varied harmonic and rhythmic approaches to each song they take on.

    •Saturday 10th:
    Mike Nielsen & Tommy Halferty's "IN TWO"

    Tommy Halferty: Guitar

    Two Irish Guitar virtuosos take to the boom boom stage to extensively
    re-work classic standards as well as showcasing original pieces.
    This is a great opportunity to catch these two very distinctive
    guitarists’ in one sitting. The band name "In-Two" is taken from the acclaimed album of the same name and you can expect a probing jazz exposition as they go mano y mano.
