    Was listening to 'Free Jazz' last night, some far out stuff. Anyone else here like it?

    Yeah I love it. Although I don't listen to it too much. Coleman restrained his style as the years went on - for the better, I think.

    Mind you, when I listen to free jazz, I'm more likely to listen to Albert Ayler and Cecil Taylor. Amazing stuff.

    Course there's John Coltrane and Sun Ra - but they're only sort of free jazz.

    I always find lying down on the floor with my head directly between the speakers helps too :)
