    I can't get rid of one last piece of adware, it is turbodownload.com and is in this windows/system folder (msg{73BF4BA1-9B37-4A34-9594-3C386D8861D5}0115.dll. It cannot be removed as it says windows is using it, I have a tried four different types of adware removal programs some don't even show that it's there. Does anyone know how can I remove this .dll file.

    Cheers in advance.

    AL.

    Boot up in safe mode and then try to get rid of it. If that doesn't work hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and under the processes tab try to locate the process and shut it down. Once the process has been stopped, adaware should be able to remove it.

    This from symantec
    Click Start, and then click Run. (The Run dialog box appears.)
    Type regedit

    Then click OK. (The Registry Editor opens.)

    Navigate to the key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

    In the right pane, delete the value:

    "IEDriver"="%System%\IEDRIVER.EXE"

    Exit the Registry Editor.
    Mike.
