Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The girl in question has said that she would pursue a civili suit against those involved. I cannot see that being a whole lot more succesful really as the police have said that there is not enough evidence to go on, how would she be able to get any more, or perhaps she was just in it for the money all along. (Not saying that she was)

Just as well we did not allow people to name the players against whom the allegations were allegedly made as only two of them were on the list of seven that were posted.

I doubt a Civil case will ever happen, the players will settle outside of court without admitting anything of course!!

Agreed. You should either make this thread a sticky or keep a link to it handy as a reminder for any similar cases in the future.

Tsk! Its about what I expected and I suspect that goes for many others here....the level of proof required in a civil case is a lot lower - "the balance of proberbility"
rather than "beyond all reasonable doubt" but as said above its unlikely to amount to anything.

She was proberly just another stupid star-stuck teenanger who thought she was going to have story with which to impress the girls. While the "children" footballers thought they were having a whale of a time too. Maybe a lesson will be learned by all parties.
